So you have tried protests, partitions, letter writing and none have had any effect.
Now it is time to start a Coaliton of Paid Members.
Why paid? Because it shows people feel strongly enough to participate and makes the Coalition have value. We would recommend $5 and if people
wish to donate more to the cause, they can. Always acknowledge their contribution with newpaper thankyou's or personal letters or phone calls.
Coalitions work as they are always in the face of the goverment. As your numbers grow, one by one you gain power. Many politicians know that for each
member it represents 3 to 5 votes. Many governments will dismiss a small Coalition at first. Then
they will in some cases either meet with you and try to work things out or try to discredit your organization (like the current B.C. liberals). They will try to spin everything you say even though your facts are correct. They will try to get you to give up and go away. But just remember WW2 and that generation that fought for freedom. You are only giving up a little bit of time, some in that group gave their lives.
Once you reach 300 - 500 paid members you will notice
that your coalition will be addressed by name.
- Time to join neighboring communities (your friends).
At 500 - 1000 members you are a real force to be deal with at the next election. Now you have power and it is time
to join with like coalitions in neighboring communities (your friends). This will decrease the effectiveness by some governments to divide and conquer neighboring communities.
